The app looks good visually but lacks in terms to detail and substance. I actually hate that upgrading my watch lead to me no longer being able to use Google Wear, which was perfect. Wear OS had all of the detail and substance in terms of specific workouts (threadmill, stair master, weightlifting, biking, etc), not generic categories (steps, pace, calories, etc). My ideal app would combine the look and easy access to data and workout details of Wear OS. I hope Fossil is taking suggestions.

The Fossil app needs work. The most frustrating thing as a current user is that the watch face changes back to a default face by itself. The configured tiles do not save either. This usually occurs after an update or if my battery is a bit low. Even though it's synced to the Fossil app. Also, the Fossil app doesn't automatically sync to the watch (I miss this the most about wear os). It's like Fossil isn't even trying to make their app user friendly and smart functional anymore. 😮💨

I wish I had gotten this working earlier. I had tried it, and something didn't work. Then my other watch died, so I went back and tried to get this hybrid to work, and it worked right away. Man, it's cool, having the six-month battery but having alerts and fitness is nice. Plus, it looks good. I'm sad they quit making them. My last Fossil Gen 5 just died after about four years of daily use.
